Hi, I’m Sarah. Companies don’t struggle to grow, they struggle to scale cleanly. What works at 30 people breaks at 80. The structure, the processes, the people systems. They weren't built for what comes next. That’s where I come in. I help SMEs and scale-ups in DACH and the GCC build the HR structure, systems, and people strategies they need to grow - without losing speed or flexibility. I grew up in London, spent 12 years on the ground in Germany and am fluent in German and English. I understand the cultural and legal nuances that trip up companies expanding into or within the DACH region and the Gulf. Not from a textbook, but from experience. Before co-founding scaliify, I worked at KPMG, a startup and in the public sector. I bring perspective on what actually works at different stages, different sizes, and in different markets. At scaliify, I work at the intersection of HR strategy, business structure and digital tools. Not in theory but in execution. What makes our approach different: - We don’t just design strategy, we implement it - We combine business, HR, and tech into one coherent system - We stay hands-on until things actually work What we typically support with: - HR strategy aligned to growth goals - HRIS and digital tool implementation (incl. integrations, dashboards, AI) - Process design & change management - Digitisation across HR, operations & admin Who we work with: - CEOs scaling regionally or across markets who need structure without bureaucracy - SMEs ready to professionalise without slowing down - HR leaders building systems from scratch - Tech providers looking for a reliable implementation partner If you're building something serious and need the HR infrastructure to match - send me a DM.

This week I flew to Munich for 2 days. Not for Oktoberbest (although I couldn't miss a brief visit), but rather for a discussion with Personio's board and customers about the state of AI in HR and its role in the transformation of companies. It was a pleasure being in the same room as Hanno, the board, the Personio AI team and other customers - all discussing the needs and challenges HR departments are currently facing. Personal highlights included: - discussing adoption, mindset and challenges with Tu - sharing experiences and learning about new Personio products from Philip - understanding how Hannah leads the topic of AI in HR at a SaaS company like Luminovo - getting access to the AI Hub to test it for myself What excited me the most? The Hub tracks AI fluency adoption, impact and spend (across different AI platforms!) For the first time, HR has real data to lead with. Big thanks goes to Julia for inviting me - can't wait for the next steps with you and the team.
People always ask me WHY Dubai?!! Today was one of those days that only seem to happen in Dubai. Fridays are my no-meeting days and with being back home, today I headed to one of my favourite coffee shops, Roasters Specialty Coffee House in Downtown Dubai. At the table next to me Guiness World Record was filming: The World's Most Expensive coffee. Not only did The Head of Coffee himself, Denkayehu D. give me a cup to try, he proceeded to share his story and love of coffee with me. The way Denkayehu D. spoke about coffee as well as Roasters as an employer gave me goosebumps. He shared his story, helping build the company as their 6th employee (now they are over 200), how they were able to grow during the war and how they are now expanding globally (opening in Hong Kong, Singapore, London, Shanghai and many more locations around the world!). It didn't surprise me to hear that he was chosen to be their Top Employee 3x in the last 5 years. His passion has now made me want to go to Roasters every Friday. Of course the coffee is exceptional, but once again, it's the people that make a place - city - or company! I feel SO grateful to have met Denkayehu D. today -thank you for making my week! Oh and when I left (after having been there the whole day), my bill had been taken care of... I have no words...
Mercedes-Benz wants to get rid of home office for most employees. Here's what I notice: Management uses "we need to be together" as shorthand for "I don't trust work is happening without seeing it." I understand that proximity feels like control. But if physical presence is your only way to know work is getting done, you definitely have an issue (or many). Build the communication and accountability, when you're small or large. I would advocate that location becomes irrelevant after that. What would break in your company if people weren't physically present? If you're working through this right now, I'm happy to talk. DM me or connect.
