About Deepti Chandrashekar Moolya MBA SHRM-SCP

I believe the most powerful thing any organization can do is make its people feel seen, valued, and challenged. Every business outcome — growth, innovation, retention — follows from getting that right. Over 20 years, I've led HR across six organizations, multiple industries, and three continents — from a Japanese manufacturing JV in India to Group Head of People Practice for Americas, Europe, and the UK at Happiest Minds Technologies. The industries have changed. The belief hasn't. My work sits at the intersection of strategy and empathy. I've built HR functions from ground's up, navigated M&A integrations, enabled AI-driven HR automation, be a champion of diversity & inclusion partnered with C-suites to turn HR into a measurable growth lever, and scaled people practices at startups . A part of me will always be a coach. I work with senior leaders navigating the moments that don't come with a manual — new roles, new expectations, new versions of themselves. What grounds me across all of it — executive, coach, mother, learner — is the belief that self-awareness is not a soft skill. It is the skill.

  • I recently had the opportunity to share my perspectives on The Shift Podcast with Mindy H. and Marnie Robbins — two wonderful hosts who make meaningful conversations possible. We explored the evolving role of human leadership in the age of AI and how HR can move towards building practical AI-enabled solutions and touched upon few use cases such as AI-powered Manager Coaching , Automation in Rewards Recognition — examples of how technology can simplify processes while keeping people at the heart of HR. A heartfelt thank you to the Alt Shift HR team for creating such a wonderful community and platform for learning and exchanging ideas. I’m equally grateful to my leaders Sachin Khurana & Sridhar Mantha for their encouragement and support; my amazing PP team for the great work they do in strengthening our culture, embracing innovation, and continuously learning together. Every conversation is an opportunity to learn, reflect, and grow. I hope this one offers valuable insights to fellow HR professionals and people leaders navigating the future of work. osr Listen the full conversation: https://lnkd.in/gE72-6KR

  • An org chart can look perfect on paper. But can the organization actually deliver? Recently, I had the opportunity to facilitate a session on Organization Design for HR Leadership Cohort, drawing on my experiences in M&A integration and scaling globally. One key reflection: Organization design is much more than roles, reporting lines, and spans of control. It’s about aligning structure with business strategy, integrating cultures and capabilities, clarifying decision rights, and anticipating workforce risks before they become business risks. The real test of organization design isn’t how the structure looks—it’s how well it enables the business to scale, adapt, and thrive. Grateful to Hacking HR for the opportunity, and to my co-host, Brizia, for making the session engaging with interesting surveys! #OrganizationDesign #MergersAndAcquisitions #WorkforceStrategy #FutureOfWor
