I help introverted managers & directors making 6 figures earn up to $40K more, get promoted and rise in leadership | Executive & Career Coach | Free career change webinar: Oct 6 @ 7 PM ET. Register in Featured ↓

Are you an introverted manager or director delivering strong results yet still not getting the recognition, promotions, or leadership opportunities you deserve? You are not alone! I'm Lissa, an ICF Certified Executive and Career Coach, Top 20 LinkedIn Influencer & Career Coach in Canada (2025). I help introverted professionals step into six-figure leadership roles without changing who they are. Research shows introverts with a bachelor's degree earn $290K less over their careers than their extroverted peers, and $760K less with advanced degrees. Most workplaces reward visibility over quiet impact, and 65% of senior executives view introversion as a barrier to leadership. And I get it... As an introvert myself, I once believed I had to act extroverted to succeed. Everything changed when I learned to build a professional brand aligned with my strengths. I landed 5 promotions in under 8 years, using visibility strategically to expand my opportunities and influence. Today, I help introverted professionals do the same through The Introvert Leadership Method. This system helps high-performing professionals build visibility, communicate their impact, and position themselves for leadership roles and higher compensation without acting out of character. 💡 Through this approach, you will learn how to: ✔ Position your résumé, LinkedIn, and professional brand so your value is clear ✔ Build visibility and credibility without draining your energy ✔ Communicate your impact in interviews, promotion discussions, and leadership conversations ✔ Position yourself for promotions, leadership roles, and higher-paying opportunities 📈 Client Results “Shortly after working with Lissa, I received a job offer exactly aligned with the role I was seeking.” — Anna Savelyeva, Director of Programs “Lissa’s program gave me the tools to land new roles, negotiate better salaries, and not sell myself short.” — Linda Adwoa Aidoo, Certified Finance Professional “Her coaching gave me clarity, confidence, and opened doors to new opportunities I never thought possible.” — Grace Udodong 🏆 Featured in: The Globe and Mail • Fortune Magazine • LinkedIn News • CTV News 📢 For brands and partners: I create content for 74K+ founders and leaders, driving 150K–500K monthly impressions and 2K–3K engagements. If your brand serves ambitious professionals or founders, let's connect at [email removed]. — 👉🏾 Ready to turn introversion into an advantage and position yourself for leadership roles? 📩 Message me on LinkedIn or book a fit call at weapply.ca

  • When my dad immigrated to Canada in the early 80s', his first job was delivering newspapers in snow-laden streets and icy winds. One of those papers was the Globe and Mail. He always shares the stories of how it wasn't easy, but he continued because he believed in what was possible on the other side of the sacrifice. Four decades later, I was recently featured in the Globe and Mail again. This time, a story on my business journey. I don't take that lightly. Not for a single second. As I read the article, I thought of my dad and the sacrifice he made. He delivered those newspapers so I could one day be in them. To every immigrant parent who sacrificed quietly so their children could rise loudly... this is for you. Thank you, Nickie Shobeiry, for writing this story. 🤍 Here's the link to the article: https://lnkd.in/gbuCVBZ3

  • Performance review season hits introverts the hardest.   You can deliver results, support your team, and lead calmly…   and still hear the words no quiet leader wants to hear: “You’re too quiet.” That’s what happened to my client Antonio. He had just stepped into a new VP role and genuinely thought he was excelling.   His team trusted him.   His projects were ahead of schedule.   And in meetings, he stepped back so others could shine. To him, that was leadership.   To his CEO, it looked like passiveness. The feedback shook him, not because it was wrong, but because he didn’t know how to be “more visible” without pretending to be someone he wasn't. So we rebuilt how he showed up: ▪️ He learned to communicate with presence ▪️ He shared clear, strategic updates so his impact was unmistakable   ▪️ He managed his energy so meetings no longer drained him   ▪️ He read communication patterns better and contributed more strategically The shift was immediate. He didn’t become louder.  He became seen. His latest performance review?   Praise across the board. You don't need to be louder to be seen, just more intentional. When your presence is felt, your leadership finally lands. If you're heading into your next review without a plan for how you're perceived, that gap won't close on its own. It just gets more expensive the longer it goes unaddressed, in missed promotions, in feedback that blindsides you Book a consultation, before your next review catches you the same way. → https://lnkd.in/ewF-2UQk

  • Today I'm celebrating my client Mouminatou Kante. For the person she's become and the confidence she now carries into every room. She was recently in town, and we spent the day together for a 1:1 executive coaching VIP session. She's a completely different person from the woman I started working with at the beginning of the year. As an executive coach who's also a career coach, people assume most of my work is resumes and LinkedIn profiles. I do review those, but that's maybe 10% of what actually happens in a coaching engagement. The real work is being a strategic thinking partner: helping senior leaders uncover their blind spots, shift their perspective, and scale their leadership impact. We reviewed everything Moumie has built since we started working together, the executive she's become, the ground she's covered, the decisions that got her here. Then we built the plan for her next year. A real strategy: how she positions herself, the strategic relationships she'll build, the communication skills that will get her there, and the mindset shifts that will help her move past the limiting beliefs that used to hold her back. Coaching is a partnership and it’s about helping someone finally see, and communicate, the full weight of what they've already built. Congratulations, Moumie. Watching this transformation has been one of the most rewarding parts of my work this year. P.S. As an ICF-certified coach, confidentiality is paramount to me. I have Moumie's full permission to share this.
