  • We're a small agency. Not every process is perfectly SOP'd yet. And I've stopped pretending that's the goal. What matters way more to me is having people who take ownership. Who actually care about the company. And who want to grow with us. Small example from this week. One of our team members shared a hackathon happening today, right near my apartment, and asked if I wanted to join. So now I'm going with him. He said he wasn't sure he could make it, so I basically told him "just get a taxi man, the company will cover it." And yeah, I already know what some of you are thinking. "That's a tiny thing, barely worth mentioning." Fair. But its not about the taxi and more about how I think we should be running Automindz Solutions and supporting our team in the best way possible. When someone joins our team, we try to back them however we can. Record a quick walkthrough video. Jump on something on the weekend. Support the small stuff when they're trying to level up in their own free time. Help them get better, grow their skills, grow their LinkedIn, build their personal brand. Because I'd rather have a small team that grows together than a big one that just executes. I'll be honest though, leading a team isn't always easy. I never had employees before Automindz. But I had some really good bosses in my old jobs, and I'm just trying to be that for our people. Niklas and Fred are the same. A remote team makes it certainly not easier at times. We're growing fast, everyone is busy, and some things do get lost. We could definitely do more knowledge-sharing sessions. We're not perfect at it. But we try to get a little better every week. Mostly I'm just grateful to be on this with two insane cofounders in Niklas and Frederik, and Mark, MOHAMMED SUHAIB and Vijay on the team. If you lead a small team, what's one small thing you do that your people actually remember? 👇 PS: heading to the hackathon now, might be slightly out of my depth but that's kind of the point. just trying not to get last or look too lost -- Fabian's Founder Friday #52 Every Friday, I post my learnings/topics of the week as an agency founder from Germany, who moved to Dubai. Follow along to not miss this + insights into AI & automations on the rest of the week.

  • A friend accidentally found us a new service line. Here's how. He called me a few weeks ago. "I showed a couple of founders the AI agent I built. They all want one. I told them to just talk to you." Here is the backstory. He had been building an AI agent on his own, mostly for fun. We gave him a few pointers on how to set it up, some tips and tricks, tool recommendations etc. Then he started showing it around. Founders saw it and immediately wanted the same thing for themselves. But he is not technical the way our team is, and he did not want to build and maintain it for other people. So he sent them our way. Since then we have quietly been building what I can only describe as AI employees. What that actually looks like: → you chat with it in Telegram or WhatsApp → it is connected to their CRM and the tools they already run → it helps on the sourcing side and the BD side → you can teach it to help on admin or any other task like research → it is trained on how they work, so it handles the messy edge cases a rigid workflow never could It is like having an employee in your pocket. You message it the way you would message a colleague, and the work comes back done. For years we focused on building workflows and flexible UIs. Those still matter. But a trained agent sitting in your phone that you can talk to all day is a different animal. It adjusts. It fills the gaps between the steps. Give it the right tools and the right training and it gets genuinely powerful. We are still early with this, so I am honestly curious. Would something like this be useful for you? If yes, I will share more of how we actually build them. PS. If you would want one set up for your own team, drop me a DM. Happy to show you what is possible

  • If you use Claude Code, this has probably annoyed you: your 5-hour limit resets at what feels like a random time every day. It's not random. The clock starts 5 hours after your first message of the day. Which means you actually get to decide when it starts. MOHAMMED SUHAIB on our team showed me the fix yesterday and it was too clever not to share. He set up a routine that sends Claude one message every morning at 6am: "hi". That's the whole thing. It runs in the cloud, so your laptop doesn't even need to be on. That single "hi" starts the clock while you're still asleep. By the time I sit down for example at 9am I already have 2 hours of a fresh window waiting, and my resets land at 11am, 4pm and 9pm instead of cutting straight through my deep-work blocks. Pretty much "warming up" my Claude Code for me. So my mornings look like this now: - wake up at 8:30, usage at 0%, go hard on client work - run my first few calls - new fresh usage-window unlocks, keep building Drop a comment if you want me to send the exact prompt to set this routine up.
