Finance is definitely my passion, but using it as a tool to make the world a better place is what really drives me. This perspective allowed me to see how valuable is my interest in technology truly is. Combined with a strong learning mindset and determination, it ultimately led me to PureTerra Ventures, a Series A WaterTech VC, and to Transition Finance Network, a financial advisor for ClimateTech startups in the . As for my next step, I am on the look out for fast-paced, dynamic environments for work experiences starting in June 2027, targeting VC / growth equity investment funds for investment intern roles, tech consulting or high-growth startups for founder’s associate positions.

I just completed my Bachelor in Finance at the University of Amsterdam. Three reflections from these three years: > I loved learning how macroeconomic news affects our daily life, interconnected with various financial theories and principles > The extracurricular experiences I had along the way were as valuable, if not more so, for my professional and personal growth > I love both the startup world and the role finance plays into it through private capital markets So now what? I will spend this summer learning and building with AI, then will look to get more exposure to the startup and investing landscape during my master at the University of St.Gallen, particularly within the Swiss ecosystem. What did you take away from your bachelor?
A company that raised its Seed round less than 3 years ago is about to be acquired for $60B by SpaceX. That would be the largest venture-backed acquisition in history, effectively doubling Google's $32B Wiz deal. The financial math behind the deal and the synergies between the companies really impressed me. Cursor is at ~$2B ARR today, projected to hit ~$6B by EOY. SpaceX is targeting a $2T IPO. So they're spending 3% of their valuation to add roughly 15-20% to their revenue base. That's not a moonshot. That's a spreadsheet. (Technically it's an option — SpaceX can buy Cursor later this year or pay $10B for the partnership alone. But xAI's Colossus infrastructure is already live. The strategic logic doesn't change.) The real story is structural. Cursor still depends on OpenAI and Anthropic for its core models, the same companies now rolling out competing coding tools. xAI, folded into SpaceX in February, solves that: Cursor gets the compute stack, SpaceX gets developer distribution. The vertical integration is the thesis. These are just my reflections but I'd genuinely be curious to hear from people with more experience in growth equity or VC. Is it crazy or genius? (I guess this is a typical question when talking about Elon Musk)
Are the Anthropic Claude courses worth pursuing? Even though building immediately is the most efficient way to learn AI, I wanted more structure on the fundamentals of my primary tool (Claude Code). I previously consumed different Youtube tutorials and followed several entry-level online guides but I thought some official courses would provide additional value. This is what I learnt: > Hooks can be quite useful to set hard rules > What subagents are for and how to create one > Personalizing subagents based on your processes is a new way to make Claude more efficient for you Conclusion? It is worth it, especially if you really start from zero. If you already started playing with Claude Code, the subagents course is particularly interesting. What is the best approach to learning AI you experienced?
