Just hit the IndieHackers homepage. 🎉 If you're a founder paying full price for your tools you probably don't have to. I built SaaSOffers after realizing most founders leave hundreds of thousands in free credits on the table every year. Not because they don't qualify but because nobody told them. AWS gives $5,000 in free credits. Google Cloud gives $100,000. HubSpot gives 90% off Year 1. And 497+ more deals just like these. All verified. All in one place. Free to start. Most online stores send emails. Far fewer have a retention setup. If I were starting a store's retention from zero today, I wouldn't begin with newsletters or a content calendar. I'd start with three automated flows, because they reach customers at the moments that matter most. A welcome series. Someone just signed up. Two or three short emails introduce the brand, show the best sellers and give a reason to place a first order. An abandoned cart reminder. Someone added a product and left. A reminder a few hours later, then a second one the next day, brings back part of those visitors. An SMS can work as the second touch if the customer agreed to receive them. A post-purchase email. The order has arrived. A thank-you, a request for a review and a suggestion for what to order next turn a first purchase into a relationship. Three things make these flows work: the right trigger, a short delay and a clear next step. Not long emails or complex designs. This is where Brevo fits for me. It brings email, SMS, your contact list and automation workflows into one platform, so the three flows above can be built in the same place. Abandoned cart flows need your store connected to Brevo, and the features available depend on your plan. Start with these three, measure what they bring, and only then add more. #ad Paid partnership with Brevo
