I’m Neil C. Hughes, producer of the Tech Talks Network and a trusted partner to global technology brands. Over the past decade, I’ve recorded more than 4,000 interviews with founders, CEOs, and innovators, turning complex ideas into stories that resonate. Tech Talks Daily, the flagship show of the network, is on track to reach three million downloads in 2025 alone, ranking it among the top one percent of podcasts worldwide. The show is currently booked with 190 guests four months in advance. My articles and newsletters reach senior decision-makers who value balanced commentary over hype. LinkedIn has recognised my work as a Top Voice, but what drives me is building long‑term relationships with organisations that want their insights heard and understood. I collaborate with partners on executive ghostwriting, podcast production, sponsored editorial features, and on‑site storytelling at major tech conferences. Every project is designed to deliver both audience relevance and measurable business results. If you’re ready to share authentic insight with a global audience, let’s talk.

“Everything is optimized, nothing breaks through, and it’s all just f****** boring.” That was the refreshingly honest line from Braze CEO Bill Magnuson in his opening keynote at #Forge2026 in Las Vegas. If every company uses the same AI models, draws on the same patterns, and follows similar advice, marketing may become more efficient while also becoming less distinctive. Sure, campaigns can be personalized, tested, and optimized at a scale that would have been impossible a few years ago. But none of that guarantees that anyone will remember them. Magnuson’s point was that technology should remove the repetitive work that has consumed so much of a marketer’s time and give people more room for creativity, judgment, and original thinking. The technology can help teams move faster, but it cannot make a safe idea interesting simply because it has been optimized. For business leaders investing heavily in AI, there is a wider question here too. If the main result of that investment is producing more content, more quickly, then companies may simply become better at creating average work. The real opportunity may be using AI to remove operational friction so that people have more time to create something worth noticing. #BrazeForge #MadeForThis #Martech
Attackers, defenders, employees, and autonomous agents can all now act at machine speed. But what are the pros and cons of these new capabilities inside every business? This week's newsletter is a round-up of the lessons I learned last week after four conversations at the Barracuda TechSummit 2026. Barracuda CEO, Rohit Ghai on why a real security platform needs to connect data, identity, applications, and controls. Arve Kjoelen on security posture and faster respon Neal Bradbury on Shadow AI and responsible adoption. Adam Khan on agentic security operations and the role of human judgment. How is your organization balancing AI automation with human oversight? #BarracudaOne #Cybersecurity #BarracudaTechSummit
How much of a marketer's job should actually be handed to AI? I asked Astha Malik, Chief Business Officer at Braze this question during our conversation at Forge 2026 in Las Vegas. Her answer was much more interesting than another discussion about productivity. She shared with me why she believes marketers should decide which parts of the work they want AI to handle while retaining control of the objectives, creativity, brand promise, and judgment behind it. The opportunity is to remove many of the operational tasks that currently consume marketing teams and give people more time to think. But there is another side to this. If organizations simply use that additional capacity to create more emails, campaigns, and content, we may end up with greater efficiency and a lot more noise. Our full conversation covers AI decisioning, personalization, governance, ROI, and what happens to the marketer's role as software increasingly makes and executes decisions.
