brand strategy 🤝 creator partnerships | driving growth through strategic creator programs
Anyone can source creators. The harder problem is knowing which creators will actually move the needle for a brand. I sit at a unique intersection: I've sold and executed strategic creator campaigns for brands, and I've built and managed the creator-facing side of those same programs. That two-sided fluency means I can translate a brand's goals into a creator strategy that actually delivers — because I understand both what the brand needs and what "good" looks like on the creator side. What sets me apart: → I translate brand objectives into creator strategy fluently in both directions — reading a brand's goals to find creators who will actually move them, and understanding a creator's content and audience to know whether it fits the brand's aesthetic and business goals → My differentiator is taste — a strategic point of view on which creators and partnerships will actually work for a specific brand, not just who's trending. I promise I won't send you the same creator list as every other agency :) → I've sold these programs to brands directly, then built and run the infrastructure behind them — sourcing, vetting, negotiation, and relationship management with creators, managers, and agents — giving me the full arc from pitch to execution → Partnered with brands including Resy, American Express, Coca-Cola, Subaru, Domino's, Panera, Meta, A Place for Mom, and Glossier — designing and executing creator partnership strategies that drove measurable business results Taste, strategic judgment, and strong creator relationships built over years — that combination is what actually drives results, and it's not something that can be automated.

My third Cannes Lions is in the books, and this year felt noticeably different. For the first time, I noticed a much more massive creator presence on the Croisette then in years past, as attendance was almost double year over year. Beacons AI hosted our first Cannes Lions activation with our Cafe Beacons at creator beach! Our merch was hot, but the best part was talking with hundreds of creators and brands throughout the week. Shoutout to Brett Dashevsky for holding down the creator beach stage all week 🎤 The tech takeover was real YouTube, Microsoft, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Meta, Canva, Vercel, OpenAI, ElevenLabs, Anthropic... AI is very much alive and well in the room. But here's what was interesting: even surrounded by all of that technology, the conversations that hit hardest were the ones about human connection. At a Pinterest x #paid event, Janelle Monáe spoke about the necessity of preserving human experience — that great storytelling still relies on genuine connection, and that's something AI simply cannot replace. It was one of the best panels I attended and got the entire crowd talking after about human connection in this age of AI. The programming that delivered the most value for me? There are two standouts: The Female Quotient — incredible panels featuring Eva Longoria, Tina Knowles, THE Oprah, and brand voices from Microsoft, Amazon, Meta, Google, and more. Their give aways and goodies are always on point- specifically the fans with the water misting option 😅 AI & Tech Sandbox powered by PMG — as someone working specifically with AI and tech brands, this was the place to be with great vibes. Panels with brands like Zoom Intuit Microsoft Snap Inc., Questlove on creativity in the age of AI, how leading brands are bringing AI to life and more. Jennifer Quigley-Jones held it down moderating more the a few insightful conversations ☺️ Also, the fabulous HarbourView Equity Partners team truly know how to throw an event. Fat Joe and Jadakiss in conversation about staying creatively motivated and relevant in the age of AI was one of the more refreshing conversations of the week. They closed the night with a live performance from Chaka Khan, Fat Joe, and Jadakiss. And our team closed out the week and celebrated our first cannes lions activation with a beautiful dinner at Zuma 🥂 Neal Jean Kaitlin Macholz Rachael Wang Jesse Zhang David Zeng Greg Luppescu My honest Cannes takeaway this year: the real value wasn't just on the main stage. It was in the side rooms, the smaller events and networking opportunities, the conversations that happened between panels, especially while waiting in long lines. The best moments were the most human ones 🫶
