I’m excited to share that I’ve earned the AI Fellow badge on Handshake! 🏅 My work with Handshake AI has brought together my mathematics background and my interest in understanding how AI models reason. So far, I’ve contributed across three areas: 🌍 Prompt Localization Adapting English evaluation prompts into natural, culturally relevant language while preserving their original intent and scope. 🧠 STEM Reasoning Creating challenging mathematics problems that test conceptual understanding, logical precision, and multi-step problem solving. 🖼️ Multimodal Evaluation Developing image-based STEM questions that require AI models to connect visual information with subject expertise. What I enjoy most is examining the details: questioning assumptions, checking solutions, and identifying where a model’s reasoning breaks down. However, for the past three months, my account has been stuck in “Under Review” status. Despite reaching out to support multiple times, I’ve received only automated replies stating that there is no timeline for resolution and the tickets are closed without any real explanation. This situation has prevented me from applying for new projects or continuing my contributions, even though I have always followed the rules. It’s incredibly frustrating and disappointing. Freelancers invest their time, skills, and trust into these platforms. We help build and improve AI systems every day. In return, all we ask for is clear communication, fair support, and basic transparency. I’m sharing my experience because I know I’m not alone.
