I have helped dozens of founders scale their SaaS, DeepTech and AI startups from 0 to $1M, $1M to $10M and $10M to $25M. Initially as a founding GTM/Sales lead, later as the founder of a GTM agency, Scale It Right (which I founded and exited), and now as an advisor and investor. I'm currently part of the leadership team at Ideas2IT and drive everything GTM and Strategy for our core AI Transformation Services business, 9 products and 1 new explosive healthtech bet. I also invest in early-stage startups (focused on AI Native Agencies & Vertical AI) and often work closely with founders on positioning, narrative development and US GTM. Always up for a good conversation (and black coffee). :)

Dubai founders selling to the US. Who’s here? (Most of my experience is in US GTM). I'd love to get about 10 of us around a breakfast table. Preferably building in AI, SaaS or deeptech. I’ll bring 14 years of GTM learnings and experience building businesses that have generated tens of millions in ARR. The wins, the expensive mistakes, and what I’d do differently. Ask me anything. Positioning, landing your first US customers, building a sales motion, what's working in marketing, scaling. Happy to get into the specifics of what you’re working on. I’ve spent enough time in Dubai. I don’t want to leave without contributing something to the ecosystem here. Thinking Saturday morning, November 7, in Business Bay. I’ll share the location once confirmed. Want a seat at the table? DM me with what you’re building.
The world is going to see a massive increase in one-person businesses, independent consultants and small, specialist agencies. But for that to work, the relationship between clients and service providers needs a massive revamp. Too much of it today is built on the assumption that the smaller party must absorb all the risk. Do free work to prove yourself. Start before the contract is signed. Accept unreasonable payment terms. Keep following up for money you’ve already earned. Add a few more things because “it shouldn’t take too long.” And through all of this, remain patient because the client is always right. This model is beyond broken. I built an agency over four years and sold it. Before that and after that, I’ve sold millions of dollars worth of products and services. For the last two and a half years, I’ve also been on the other side, buying from agencies and consultants and product startups. So when I hear things like “Don’t work with Indian clients,” “Indians don’t pay on time,” or “US clients are easier,” I think we’re diagnosing the problem incorrectly. Cheapness isn’t Indian. Generosity isn’t American. Integrity is individual. High-integrity clients understand that the freelancer or small agency across the table is running a business too. They pay without needing to be chased. They won’t accept free work simply because someone is desperate enough to offer it. When their business grows and your contribution grows with it, they try to increase what they pay you. Their expectations are within reason. And sometimes, they’ll give you a shot before you have enough work to prove you deserve one. I’ve seen people with millions in the bank delay small payments for months. I’ve also seen founders going through genuinely difficult periods communicate clearly and do everything within their capacity to be fair. One had money. The other had integrity. As work becomes more fragmented and more talented people choose to build independently, this distinction will become increasingly important. Small businesses cannot be expected to finance larger businesses through delayed payments, free work and endless scope expansion. The future of work needs better clients as much as it needs better freelancers, consultants and agencies. My two cents for agencies, freelancers and consultants: start looking for integrity indicators from the very first conversation. How they speak about previous partners. Whether they respect your time. Whether they push for free work. Whether every commitment comes with a condition. If something doesn’t sit well with you, don’t explain it away because the logo is exciting or the contract is large. In all probability, it is going to be exactly the shitty experience you sensed it would be. You usually meet the real client long before they become one. Pay attention.
It took me a while to understand the visionary vs. operator dynamic. When I built and sold my company, I tried to be both. I burnt out. I still operate, but I've stepped away from execution almost entirely because I've realized where I create the most leverage. My mind races. Ideas. Markets. Distribution. Positioning. New businesses. I naturally see connections and opportunities everywhere. It's just how I'm wired. My operators usually think I'm crazy. Then six weeks later we're shipping something they thought would take six months. Every single time we compress timelines, something shifts. Not because we're working harder. Because we stop accepting arbitrary constraints. I've spent the last few years understanding where I create the most leverage. Now I know. I've already decided what I want the next decade of my life to look like. I'm investing in building a portfolio of AI-native agencies and a handful of vertical AI companies. Not one business. A portfolio. Which is exactly why I'm looking to meet the right operators early. I'm looking for two kinds of people. The first is a #GTM operator. I'm looking for someone who's built sales from zero. Someone who's comfortable selling services, martech, and AI to US buyers. Someone who doesn't need a polished deck, a mature product, or perfect positioning to close business. Someone who can sell, learn, refine, and do it all over again. The second is someone obsessed with demand generation. The kind of person who can build repeatable pipeline across multiple businesses until demand is never the bottleneck. If you've built from zero, love creating something from nothing, and think you'd enjoy building for the next decade, I'd love to connect. About building something meaningful together. This is NOT a hiring post.
