About Suhast Poonia

Behind every product that stood out, someone figured out what to say, who to say it to, and how to make it land. That's what I love doing. I've spent 4+ years in product marketing across B2B, mostly as the first marketing hire at a MarTech startup where I led positioning, messaging, sales enablement, campaigns, research, and voice of customer programs. My non-linear arc (CS Major -> Product Marketing -> Ross MBAn) provides me a great combination of technical instinct, creative judgement, and commercial rigor. Full-stack PMM skillset, including: Product Launches & GTM (SLG) Messaging & Positioning Creators, Campaigns & Events Competitive & User Research Sales Enablement & Adoption Performance Analytics & Attribution

  • Y Combinator got wilder with their Spring Cohort when they got their first non-human founder Thomas (YC P26) where our guy 'Thomas' literally cloned himself. The only goal of AI Thomas is to make money. Once launched, he works forever toward that goal. Of all the AI updates lately, this one stood out. Because we're moving from AI as a tool to AI as an economic actor. For years, we've been asking: "Which jobs will AI automate?" Now the question is: "Which companies can AI run?" Even Sam Altman recently said that the first one-person company to hit $1B in revenue isn't that far away. So here's what I'm curious about: If AI can create meaningful economic value on its own, what responsibilities and rights, if any, should it have within the systems it helps build? P.S. - is it just me or he is mogging? 😮‍💨

  • When you're job hunting, you're basically a B2B sales guy with no salary, no manager, and you are the PRODUCT. Just cold outreach, a target list, and the anxiety of a 3% reply rate that is, apparently, the industry standard in 2026. (it was 8.5% in 2019 🤯 ) I've went down the rabbit hole on how the best outbound teams actually move numbers. What I realized is that the people do hit 10-14% reply rates but they aren't just better writers. They've just stopped pretending that copy is the problem. I've been thinking about that a lot lately as I dig into new AI tools and it's exactly why Salesforge.ai 🔥 caught my attention. They fixed this by treating outbound like infrastructure, not inspiration. I'm fixing it the same way. And the tool I landed on is built specifically for this era of cold email and is the same one its own founder used to book 100 meetings a week while the company had almost no headcount. If you're on a hunt for leads and your reply rates have been sliding, it's probably not your copy. Link in first comment for free trial !! (Sponsored by Salesforge, 14-day free trial, link below)

  • Used Claude Fable 5 in Claude Design to redo my portfolio website. Ate all my credits and responded - 'you can do better'. the hype was real! It certainly is the best model to eat up your tokens! Please suggest things to do for the next 4 hrs 57 mins.
