👉 I started in medicine, but realized I was more drawn to fixing systems than treating symptoms. I traded a stethoscope for system management. — Human attention is now the scarcest resource on the internet. My career path hasn’t been linear--it’s been shaped by curiosity and a persistent interest in how complex systems behave. I began in biology, learning to think in patterns and interconnected structures. That mindset carried into software engineering, where logic, systems design, and problem-solving became foundational. Medicine followed, driven by a fascination with complexity, decision-making, and the human variables no model fully captures. Serving as an Army officer added a different kind of education--leadership, adaptability, and execution under pressure. Today, I work in project management and digital marketing, where these disciplines unexpectedly converge. I specialize in process improvement, whether it is designing AI-driven content and automation systems that scale brand engagement without losing the human touch or streamlining the patient experience to reduce wait times. I’m particularly interested in: • Process Improvement • AI-powered content workflows • Social media automation & Systems design • Scalable brand presence strategies • Data-informed creative decision making I approach projects the same way I’ve approached every field I’ve worked in: structure, experimentation, and continuous refinement. Technology evolves quickly. Human attention even faster. I build systems designed to adapt to both. Skills: Microsoft 365 Office

🎓 I graduated from General Assembly AI-Enabled Data Analytics course today! Shoutout to the instructors Kihoon Sohn and John Paul for guiding us all! Over the past several weeks, our cohort of about 22 students completed an intensive journey through Excel, SQL, Tableau, and data storytelling. Today, we officially graduated. For my capstone project, I created and presented a portfolio-grade data analytics project that explored a question many organizations are still trying to answer: How does work location impact employee well-being? With remote, hybrid, and onsite work becoming the norm, companies need more than assumptions. Using Excel and Tableau, I analyzed how different work settings relate to factors such as: ✅ Stress levels ✅ Mental health ✅ Work-life balance ✅ Social isolation ✅ Job satisfaction ✅ Weekly work hours As someone interested in project management and business analysis, this course reinforced how important data is for making informed decisions. Great project managers don't just manage timelines and deliverables; they use data to understand problems, identify trends, measure outcomes, and help stakeholders make better decisions. I'm excited to continue building these skills and applying them to future projects. 📊 Here's to lifelong learning and continuous growth! #GeneralAssembly #DataAnalytics #Excel #SQL #Tableau #ProjectManagement #BusinessAnalysis #DataVisualization #LifelongLearning #CareerDevelopment #VeteransInTech
Duolingo is one of my favorite examples of the Novelty Effect in marketing. Instead of constantly redesigning the product, they found creative ways to make people notice it. They changed their app icon multiple times: • Melting Duo (2023) • Exhausted/Shriveled Duo (2024) • Sick Duo with red eyes and a runny nose (2024) • "Dead Duo" with X's over his eyes and a campaign announcing the mascot had died (2025) The Novelty Effect is when there are new and unexpected changes to a product, website, etc. These changes naturally attract attention, generate conversation, and drive engagement. I love studying marketing because once you learn concepts like the sales funnel, customer journeys, conversion rate optimization, and consumer psychology, you start seeing them everywhere. Another eye opens. You see the world differently. Note: I couldn't find the actual images of each icon online. Duolingo, did you take pictures of yourself throughout the year? I would love to write about this! #Marketing #DigitalMarketing #CRO #ConversionRateOptimization #ConsumerBehavior #GrowthMarketing #UXDesign #Duolingo
We spend too much time evaluating credentials and not enough time evaluating outcomes. Degrees matter. Experience matters. Certifications matter. But at some point there's only one question left: What have you built? I saw a resume that perfectly captured this: Candidate A MBA 4.0 GPA 12 Certifications Perfect Resume Candidate B Built a product Acquired 100 customers Failed twice Learned from it Who was hired? The people who stand out aren't always the ones with the cleanest resumes and the most linear paths in life. They're often the ones with unfinished projects, failed experiments, hard-earned scars, and stories about building something from scratch. They've learned what it feels like to own an outcome. That's why I've been thinking about an idea. What if we created an online weekend "builder hackathon"? Not another networking event. Not another webinar. Not another course. A group of ambitious people coming together for a weekend to solve real business problems, build real solutions, and ship something tangible. A 42seoul (#42SiliconValley) vibe where there are no true instructors but ourselves, the internet, and our peers. At the end of the weekend, every participant leaves with something that can be added to GitHub, a portfolio, LinkedIn, or a résumé. Not a certificate. Proof of solving a real business' problem. A portfolio piece for you to say: "Here's what I built." Would you join? #Entrepreneurship #Startups #ProductManagement #BusinessAnalysis #Innovation #AI #WomeninTech #BuildinPublic
