Strategic Recruitment Leader | Building Impact-Driven Teams & Architecting High-Growth Hiring Systems
At my core, I am a strategic thinker, innovator, leader and educator who sees life through an entrepreneurial lens. To me, there is nothing more exciting than helping bring people together to solve big problems. And that is why I thrive in Recruitment and Talent Acquisition. Bringing together my love for relationship-building, marketing, sales, and strategy, I strive to build talent brands that are always innovating, always improving, and most importantly, always seeking to provide a better experience for job seekers. To me, the recruitment function goes far beyond simply filling jobs. A strong system has many layers and requires the right framework, strategy, network, and tools. Utilizing this infrastructure, my main objective in everything I do is to build talent processes that are equitable, efficient, and scalable.

The bar for standing out as a world-class recruiter has never been lower. While the bulk of the TA industry is distracted by the latest tools and LinkedIn talking points, here's what the best of the best are still doing: ✅ Being true business advisors and SMEs ✅ Leading with authenticity and a genuine care for people ✅ Communicating well above what is expected ✅ Addressing real problems in their hiring process with real solutions ✅ Optimizing their messaging to get more responses from the right people, not blasting out more messages to more people ✅ Using technology to get closer to their candidates and hiring managers, not further away The gap has widened because our industry has gotten lazy. We've swapped relationship-building for automation. Great messaging has been replaced with a wave of templated noise. We've outsourced tools to try and replace our ability to assess and think critically. Time for a reality check.... The best recruiters I know are still doing the unglamorous and unsexy work. They invest in their relationships with hiring managers to understand what they actually need. They approach and engage candidates like humans. They obsess over their outreach and sourcing strategy, focusing on quality over quantity. They use technology to augment and inform their work, not replace it. What separates them isn't their tech stack. It's discipline. It's caring more about hiring outcomes than metrics. It's remembering that recruiting is fundamentally about connecting the right people at the right time. Recruiting still is, and will always be, a people-led practice.
For any of my TA and Recruitment fam who are Juicebox fans, today is an exciting day. They just announced the release of Agent 4.0 - their latest generation sourcing agent built on their new Context Intelligence Layer. We've now entered an era where your sourcing agent understands everything your team already knows without you having to explain or prompt it. Wild! Personally, the feature that I’m most geeked about is Market Mapping. Experienced recruiters know that finding people was never the hard part of sourcing. The hard part was knowing where to look, how wide to search, and when to scrap the strategy and start over. Recruiters have always had to make these judgment calls using their experience and whatever limited data they had access to. But Agent 4.0 changes the equation. Before it even surfaces a single candidate, it will map the full market, test multiple search strategies against each other, and evaluate which one will actually produce the right pipeline. If the strategy's off, it self-corrects. If it needs more context, it asks. By design, it follows the steps that an expert sourcer would when adjusting and refining their search. These new capabilities are worth paying attention to. We don’t need another tool that finds people faster. We need tools that reason like the people who are actually experts. I'm curious to hear everyone's thoughts! Check it out and learn more about them here: juicebox.ai/agents
I recently recorded a great podcast episode with the one-and-only Mike Peditto where we talked about what makes a Recruiter valuable in today’s market. While I won’t cover everything that we discussed in that episode (make sure to check it out when it drops), I wanted to share some of things that I’ve been observing and thinking about in relation to this topic. Feel free to listen to my perspective and share your own thoughts, or let me know if I’m crazy. 🤷🏽♂️ (Ps. Sorry for the wonky audio…post-production fail)
