About Jordan Murphy

I find what’s capping your growth. 6x founder. Hundreds of companies served, 40+ won awards during our work. $10M to $65M growth run. Founder, Brain Apes, the GTM systems firm for expert-led companies.

I build revenue, team, and operating systems for founder-led and growth-stage companies. I'm most useful inside companies that already have momentum but messy systems underneath. Sales is producing, marketing is producing, the team is in motion, and the founder has a clear vision. What hasn't been built yet or isn't working well is the connective tissue: positioning, people rhythm, reporting, handoffs, and the execution cadence that keeps it all aligned. That's where I come in. I take scattered efforts that are already working in pieces and turn them into something the founder and the team can actually see, run, and improve week over week. Depending on the company, that can mean people and team systems, GTM strategy, leadership, recruiting and onboarding, executive visibility, demand generation, positioning, dashboards, AI workflows, or the small weekly rhythm that keeps everyone pointed in the same direction. A few proof points: 🥇 Helped scale a company from ~$10M to $65M across growth, brand, operations, recruiting, partnerships, leadership, and reporting. 🥇 Led 200+ employees across 28 retail locations in 3 states. Turnover dropped from 39% to 24%, onboarding time down 33%, sales per employee up 20%+, customer satisfaction up 8%. 🥇 Built and launched 8 award-winning brands inside a high-growth operating environment. 🥇 Drove 1M+ follower growth across client portfolios in 2024 and crossed 2M+ by the end of 2025, while supporting audience monetization, new offers, and business development. 🥇 Built Brain Apes into a partner for expert-led companies who run their growth through executive visibility and trust. The roles that fit best: Head of Growth, Head of Operations, Business Operations Leader, Chief of Staff to CEO, People & Ops Leader, GM / Growth Operator, Interim Growth or Ops Leader, Founder's Office / Strategic Operator. Title matters less than the problem. I do my strongest work within companies where the product is good, the team is capable, and the business is ready for stronger systems to support growth. Through Brain Apes, I also work with a curated number of expert-led companies on executive visibility, positioning, and the GTM systems that turn trust into pipeline. Outside of work, I'm a husband, 5x dog dad, and builder who cares about family, freedom, health, travel, nature, and doing work that actually matters. I love building with great people on impactful missions. Open to the right full-time, interim, fractional, or advisory opportunity. Media or brand partnership inquiry: [email removed]

  • Would your GTM still run if nobody logged in? It should.. A champion changes jobs. Usage drops 80% in a month. A target account raises a Series B. A renewal lands inside 14 days. If you need to login to see a signal, it's already late. That's why Floqer went headless. Same GTM data layer, 100+ sources and 80+ signals, and you never have to open a tab to use it. Your agents and team call it from the tools they already use. I build GTM systems for expert-led companies, and the slowest step in most of them is the gap between a signal showing up and the right person acting on it. Headless is how you close it. → Claude Code One sentence asks for the VP of Sales at every fintech that just raised a Series B, verified and pushed to HubSpot. 212 rows came back verified and land in the CRM. → Slack Ask @Flo how much MRR is at risk and it names the accounts. Ask what changed and you learn a champion left 9 days ago, with their replacement already verified in HubSpot and assigned to you. → One meter Credits cover the data and the work, with no separate action fee stacked on top. You pay for hits, and reruns come out of cache. → Every seat Unlimited seats on every plan, so every rep can ask it directly. (If your reps keep hearing about churn from the customer first, check where your signals live before you buy more data.) I'll take a heads-up in Slack over another dashboard every time (chronic Slack checker here lol). Your reps spend the morning on the call that saves the account instead of digging for why it's slipping. TechCrunch just named Floqer to the Startup Battlefield Top 20 at Disrupt, out of thousands of startups that applied. 1,500+ revenue teams already run on it. Who's the one person at your biggest account you can't afford to lose? Would you know by Friday if they left? Go headless.. start free with 100 credits, no card. Floqer.com Growth runs on systems. • I moved to Florida for the lifestyle. Would you rather have the Lambo or the life it was supposed to buy you? Smartlead put 500 posters across Miami. Wynwood, Miami Beach, Downtown and the Design District, four different lines on repeat: "We could've leased a Lambo. We glued this to a wall instead." "Renting the Miami lifestyle? Own it with AI" "Hire 5 workers for $199. Legally. With AI" "How'd you afford the Lambo? AI baby." The marketing side of me loved this. Each line is written for a different founder. The capital-efficient one, the one chasing the lifestyle, the one obsessed with leverage and the skeptic rolling their eyes at all of it. Most brands would pick one of those in a conference room and run it for a quarter. Smartlead put all four on the street and let Miami pick. And every photo someone posts of one puts it to work a second time. My favorite is the red one.. Love that lol. Miami runs on the flex, and here's a company flexing on where the money didn't go. The white one's going to stop a lot of founders mid-walk too. "Legally" is doing a lot of work in that line. If you're running lean, more capacity for the team you already have is the whole game. For me that's what real success looks like now. A profitable business with a team that keeps winning, even on the Tuesday afternoon I'm on the beach with my phone in the bag. Build for the life first.. the car can come later if you still want it. Big respect to Smartlead for a campaign that got Miami actually talking about it. So which one's your favorite? Vote with one word: red, blue, white or yellow. シ Save this for later and follow me for more. #SmartleadPartner

  • This might be the best analogy I'll use for the rest of my life, so pay attention.. Would you ever use Google Maps or Waze without typing in where you're going? It won't give you a single turn until you do. But that's how most of us plan a business. We look at what's in the tank. Four or five good people and whatever cash is in the account. "Based on half a tank, I'd guess we can make it to.. the next town over?" So every year is some version of the next town over. And then we wonder why the business grows in increments instead of leaps. (I planned years of my own business off the gas gauge before I caught it.. so I get it) The businesses that slingshot drop the pin first. Where do we want to be in three years? What does that route take? Once the pin's in, the stops show up on their own. And for a service business there are only two kinds: brand and talent. The associations that make people want you, and the people smart enough to build your future. That's also your answer to "how do I reinvest?" (If next year's plan looks like this year with a little more gas, that's your pointer to drop the pin before you touch the budget.) Write down the business (and probably lifestyle) you actually want in three years. List the stops you haven't made yet, then put a real name next to the first hire on it. That list is your reinvestment plan. Want a second set of eyes on the route? Book a free GTM Systems Review. We'll walk your GTM end to end, name the one constraint holding it back and define the first build. https://lnkd.in/epiZ8CAw Growth runs on systems.
