Fit Ops @ ABC AI Agents | 71% Margin 6 Figure PT Business Solo | 13yrs Coaching | Automating Gym Sales & Retention
I've been the broke trainer sleeping on a yoga mat between a 5am class and a 6pm PT session split shift. I've been the operator staring down a $16K lease and a 16-person payroll. I built a coaching business to six figures on my own. Same industry. Every seat. Here's what all of them taught me: fitness runs on people, and the people who run it get almost no help with the part that keeps the lights on. The money. The systems. The retention. The math. That's the problem I work on now. I sell Replify, AI that handles the calls, texts, and follow-up that eat a gym's entire day, so operators can put their hours back into members instead of their phones. I found it as a customer first. I was automating my own coaching business just to survive the grind, long before I ever sold the software to anyone. Thirteen years in the trenches before that: Ran sales and operations for gyms. 500+ member books, 16-person teams, 90%+ retention in an industry that treats churn as the cost of doing business. Founded Train & Able, my own personal training company. Took it to 6 figures in revenue at a 71% margin. Solo, no funding, one client at a time. Coached on the floor long enough to know exactly what the paycheck looks like from down there, and why so many great coaches burn out or walk. Now I write about the business behind the fitness industry: how gyms actually make money, what the standard playbook gets wrong about the people inside it, and where AI genuinely helps versus where it's just noise. Effort is a choice. Simple isn't easy. And the people keeping this industry alive deserve better tools than a clipboard and a prayer. Always up for a conversation about gyms, retention, AI, or the business of coaching.

Had a team gathering this week. Doesn't happen often. Noticed how different we all are. Different backgrounds. Different skills. Different ways of looking at the same problem. A room like that could easily move slow. Too many opinions, not enough alignment. Replify doesn't. We move fast, every time. We don't let perfect be the enemy of good. Ship the fix. Send the draft. Make the call. Clean it up tomorrow if it needs it (and if that's the case, it's more of a "polish"). That's the engine underneath everything we do. It's why we're this far along instead of still polishing a plan from a year ago. This week reminded me why this works. A group of very different people who move like one TEAM. Grateful for every one of them. #AISales #AIForGyms #SaaS ABC Fitness PS: Enjoy these photos from Team 1's Iron Chef victory (don't mind the lens flare from Anna's ancient android). Salt your coffee. The sodium ions bind to the same receptors that receive bitterness, blocking your brain from the taste, resulting in a smoother cup-o-joe. Seems counterintuitive, right? Savory seasoning + bitter drink = not bitter drink? *Insert LinkedIn pitch slap* That's pretty much how Replify works. We free your team to focus on people, not pings by answering the same handful of questions that hit the front desk 100's of times a day. AI eliminates making the impossible decision between answering the lead calling and providing top tier customer service to the person standing in front of you. Adding AI to the front lines allows your staff to do what they do best: be a good human. AI + front desk = better human-to-human connection If you don't believe me, throw a pinch of salt in your next coffee and you'll get my point. Better yet, book a demo and experience our AI for yourself. #AI #AIGymSales #AIFrontDesk ABC Fitness
