👋 Hi! I’m Lisa, and I believe B2B marketing doesn’t have to be boring 😵💫 It should be bold, human and built to drive real growth. I’m a global marketing leader and creator helping marketers make sense of what’s changing in AI, brand and growth, then put it to work. My audience includes senior marketers and founders who shape strategy, lead teams and sign off budgets. Everything I share comes from nearly 20 years doing the job across high growth tech including VEED, Aircall, Hootsuite and Expedia. My LinkedIn channel helps marketers make sense of what’s changing in AI, brand, growth and leadership, then put it to work. My audience is 70% directors, VPs, C-suite leaders and founders, with 50% based in the UK and 20% in the US. Posts average 3.8% engagement, nearly double the LinkedIn benchmark.

I built my personal website in less than an hour. Which really made me question why I’d been procrastinating on it for YEARS. 🤦♀️ I don’t consider myself an overly technical marketer but I pride myself on staying curious. At work I’ve always had CMSs and brilliant people who actually know what they’re doing. My own hands-on website experience mostly came from tinkering with WordPress for my travel blog. So building and hosting a site myself had firmly stayed on the “I’ll get around to that” list. Alongside marketing, I speak on webinars, podcasts and stages about AI, B2B marketing and women in leadership. I’d wanted somewhere to bring all of that together for ages. So I gave Claude my CV, personal brand guidelines, past speaking examples, photos and a pretty clear picture of what I wanted. Then I started building, prototype by prototype. That bit was genuinely fun. Feeding it inspiration, watching the design take shape, changing things I didn’t like and obsessing over the copy until the language was unmistakably me. Then I hit the things I knew needed doing, but had never actually done myself. Setting up the domain. Hosting the files. Making it work properly on mobile. Implementing the search basics. Actually uploading HTML. A few weeks earlier, I couldn’t have told you how to do half of that. And that was probably my biggest takeaway from the whole exercise. If you don’t know where to start, ask AI where to start. Then ask the next question. And the next one. I think we’re all going to have to get much more comfortable doing things that sit slightly outside our traditional skillset. The barrier to trying has become ridiculously low. Anyway, after years of procrastinating, it took me an hour. Come have a nose around: lisavecchio.com. It’s still not perfect but that’s part of the learning process, feedback always very welcome 😊
Belly laughs with childhood besties. Beach walks and body surfing. Celebrating another trip around the sun with ice cream cake for breakfast. 🎂 I fly back to London today after a couple of weeks at home in the US, and turns out getting properly outside your bubble is pretty good for perspective. I work in tech. I spend a lot of time talking about AI. My LinkedIn feed would have you believe everyone else does too. They really don’t 😂 And I think that’s something worth remembering as marketers. Spend enough time surrounded by people who work like you, follow the same people and read the same things, and it’s very easy to lose sight of what people outside that circle actually know or care about. A couple of weeks with family and childhood friends has been a very good reality check. Also a reminder that ice cream cake remains undefeated.
Is AI actually making marketing perform better? Good question. And one I’ll be getting stuck into tomorrow 🎤 Join me at DigiMarCon - Digital Marketing, Media and Advertising Conferences & Exhibitions London at 4pm for our discussion: 👉 How AI Is Actually Driving Marketing Performance in 2026 I’ll be on stage with Katia Maevskaia and Simon Cole, getting into the practical stuff: where we’ve seen real results, what’s still overhyped, how AI is changing the customer journey, and what marketing teams need to be thinking about for 2027. I’ve got a few strong opinions on this one 😎 If you’re at DigiMarCon tomorrow, come say hi!
