I build the marketing: websites, blogs, content, and more for local businesses + software companies.
My first marketing role came with: zero budget, zero team, and zero room for error. (IYKYK) Delivered 900% growth anyway. ALL by hyper-fixating on content: focusing exclusively on organic growth with SEO... I went from fixing printers on the road (60k miles that year) to full-time marketing. Dang if I didn’t love that job but I knew I could do more. BUT I did learn what good content could do. As I progressed in my career, I started seeing similar patterns in other places. Founders and small teams doing tons of activity but nothing moving in the pipeline: content that stalls as bandwidth disappears, CRMs full of leads nobody re-engages, and sales teams rebuilding decks for every deal. The advice was easy to find (you'll see it everywhere on LinkedIn, blogs, YouTube videos, etc) BUT finding someone who would actually build/launch campaigns that actually moved the needle wasn't. I got so tired of watching this happen that I shut down my SEO agency and built something different. Now I run Dad’s Growth Lab. I build practical growth systems for B2B and service companies that need more than another strategy deck. Depending on the constraint, that looks like fractional growth marketing, a content engine, a revenue recovery sprint, sales enablement, an AI content system your team can run, or practical team training. How we work together: (1) identify the constraint (2) choose the right engagement (3) build and operate the solution (actually do it, not another audit doc) Recent proof: For one B2B SaaS client, we shipped 140+ publish-ready assets and 75 executive LinkedIn posts in 22 days, plus outbound that sourced 10+ meetings. Based in Missouri. Remote-friendly across the US. One next step: Tell me what you're working on at dadsgrowthlab.com (link in featured).

Welp, another AI agent fail hahaha These bots are so ready to take over the world... It followed my directions perfectly, which was kinda the problem, I asked for the cheapest option BUT forgot to give it a quantity limit, spending limit, or approval step. Everyone wants an AI agent with more freedom until a delivery truck shows up. Anyway, anybody need a green folder? I know a guy lol
500k impressions last month...but a 657 impression post still closed a client. Every time I keep LinkedIn to these 3 things, it works (steal it): 1. show up every freaking day Don't just hit publish every morning (posting by itself is overrated) plus if you treat LinkedIn like a billboard...nobody will care what you have to say. Show up means I open LinkedIn with 3 kinds in my house, a Senior Director seat at StormWind and Dads Growth Lab on the side....I still leave real comments. ^ a recruiter followed that for years and offered me my first director role because of it. After I post, I sit in my comments for an hour + 15 minuters on other peoples posts (that's the daily part) 2. be yourself I shut down a $30k/year SEO agency last may (even though I was making money) because I was tired of being the seo marketing dad...(RIP) Now I write about all sorts of crap: AI + marketing, content, b2b everything, testing the crap out of stuff, origin stories (I'm batman) and so much more. Basically I'm 100% myself and just say the stuff I talk with people IRL... Last month the algo loved the dumb stuff more than my "smart" stuff lol but it was all real and it was all me. 3. be kind I've left over 14k comments on this platform (did the math) and not just great post or agreed crap. Like honest to goodness thoughtful comments. People can tell when you want an audience vs wanting a conversation. GHOSTING in comments is how you turn LinkedIn into the billboard idea I mentioned earlier. Posting is just a test, and comments and DMs are where the jobs and clients actually showed up. If your week gets hectic: which of the 3 do you drop first?
I was asked what was different one year later after starting a church plant. I hit em with the old: I'm bald now joke (even though I was bald when I started haha) For real though, I was so nervous to speak at our church on Sunday. Put a guitar in my hands and I'm fine, but you remove that safety and instant nerves lol A lot can change in one year: - joined the worship team - church is no longer optional - our kids LOVE going to see their friends - we're connected with so many Jesus loving people - our daily habits are centered more around Jesus than before And that's just to name a few. Joining a church plant was one of the best things for our family and our faith. Next up: joining a leadership program from ministry... who knows where that will lead but I'm feeling the stir to do more for the Church (capital C, iykyk) ps: went a little more colorful than I normally do but I was digging the fit for Sunday!
